Faster Payments System
A large financial corporation implements a complex Technical Test Environment (TTE), sized in-line with production, to facilitate the performance testing of Bankers Automated Clearing Services (BACS) and Faster Payments Services (FPS) projects.
The BACS and FPS projects necessitate the processing and delivery of high volumes of monetary payments on behalf of its corporate customers. These services are critical for its customers, enabling the continual operation of day to day business.
The consultancy services included the development of a stable suite of automated performance test scripts to deliver accurate, repeatable test results, as well as the re-programming of an essential Java based test tool to provide large volumes of financial submissions to replicate production loads. In addition, intricate manual system integration performance tests were carried out to fine-tune the sub-systems of the FPS environment to meet critical delivery demands.
